Good views and value

Relative to other Vail area courses, it's reasonable yet has a lot of topo change and some dramatic holes. It's a little gimmicky and not a player's course, but fun nonetheless.

Best Value in the Vail Valley

Most of the resort courses in Eagle Co. are at least $200. Eagle-Vail for non-residents is $99. The course is on a par with or close to most of the other courses in the Valley but at half the price. Condition was great, the greens were fast even though they still had some residual sanding on them.

Scenic Course

My husband and I liked this course so much we made sure we fit another round in during our vacation. We were paired with other couples both times we played but still managed to play both rounds in about 4 hours. And we had a great time as both couples were fun and interesting, and having played the course before they helped us with reading those mountain greens.

Great Course in Vail Valley

This is fast becoming one of our favorite courses to play in Colorado. A challenging but fair course, it has lots of elevation changes and scenic views. The staff is very friendly and, with the help of GolfNow, it can be a very affordable place to play. We'll definitely be back.

wow tee shots

A great experience. Rough was thick but it rain for a few days. I did notice a variety of weeds in grass but that did not deter from the excellant course. The tee shots at the higher elevations were God inspired. We had a great time and will return again.

Narrow but fun

Lots of elevated tees. Some fairways are narrow. Greens are small and interesting to read. Lots of subtle breaks.

Inadequate driving range

It appears the driving range was an after thought when the course was complete. This range is better off as a parking lot.

?? Not sure what you mean. I think the driving range is one of the best in the Valley. Long enough to hit driver, good grass, plenty of spots. The chipping green is very nice along with a huge putting green with a lot of break and pins. I practice here all the time.

Great course

A cart is a must for this up and down course, but the views are what makes this a special place.
The staff couldn't have been more accommodating when our Golf Now reservation got lost in the system. They let us play by ourselves and squeezed us in between two other groups. They went the extra mile to get us a cart and get us on our way.
The course was in very good condition and provided many challenges, not the least is # 16. This hole, tucked away in a canyon, has more ways to find trouble than one can imagine.
We'll be back, despite the challenges, this course delivers on the fun.

Beautiful Location, gorgeous course! Great value

This is a course I could play all the time. The only reason why I didn't mark pristine condition was because we were in the middle of a 500 year rain storm in Colorado. Vail had received an unprecedented amount of rain. Just the fact they were letting us out on the course speaks volumes to the superintendent! The gentleman at the bar was one of the friendliest people I've met. Great time!

Great Course and Great Value

I got a $50 hot deal for this course and it was awesome. There are many big elevation drops from tee to green which were awesome and the course was in great shape. Pace of play was also good and despite stopping for about 45 minutes for rain/lightning we still played in about 4 1/2 hours. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone. The GPS on the carts was the best GPS I have experienced, which was an added fringe benefit. Thanks!

This course offers a variety of challenges in a spectacular setting.

Every hole has something new to offer. With the sound of a mountain stream playing background music to your game, it's a joy to play this course. With much of the course running along the mountainside, you will find yourself driving shots with fun vertical drops. Accuracy will be important with no shortage of water hazards and the forest serving as out of bounds. With 4 tees available for all levels of play, this spectacular course will entertain and challenge players of all levels.

Challenging but fair

Good discounted green fees through Golfnow.com, so it's a course I would play again at a discounted fee.
With an afternoon tee time, had to wait for a cart to be available; to get to the driving range, shuttled down to it by one of the cart boys, and you had to hit off of mats. Driving range balls NOT included in the greens fee, but power cart was.
It's not an easy course to walk, almost mandatory I would think to use a power cart with the elevation changes and distances between greens and tee boxes, especially on the back nine. Overall a fun course and one I'd like to play again, but for a discounted greens fee.
