Broken Tee Englewood - Par-3 Course
About
One of the golf courses at Broken Tee Englewood is a nine-hole, par-3 course and there is also a championship-length course. Previously under the name Englewood Golf Course there had only been one course, but after a few renovations, the facility's name changed to Broken Tee Englewood and two Perry Dye-designed courses are now offered. The nine-hole municipal course offers 1,750 yards of golf at its longest tees. The course offers great practice for beginning golfers. Broken Tee Englewood also boasts an excellent junior golf program, which makes this municipal facility perfect for family outings. On the premises there are several convenient amenities such as a lighted driving range, pro shop, and restaurant. Englewood is a spikeless facility.

Poorly Maintained
Course is poorly maintained which was sad to see it deteriorate over the last few years. Greens were in rough shape and there were more white outline areas painted on the fairways than a crime scene.
Worst conditions in greater Denver area
I would be hard-pressed to find a single course anywhere within a 45 minute drive of Denver that is in this bad of shape. It is borderline offensive for them to charge the same prices as other courses because they clearly do not care to maintain their course. I will say, the clubhouse looks great though… but I usually go to play golf instead of sit inside the clubhouse. Staff was friendly as well, but the tee boxes, fairways, greens and sand traps were so poorly cared for that I would have needed numerous free drinks and a 3-pack of balls to consider this to be a good value for my money.
Five plus hour round
The course layout is ok especially the last 11 holes. The pace of play is glacial. Expect a five plus hour round. The staff is not exactly customer centric.
disappointed
very poor course conditions for the steep price. pace of play was extremely slow. 5 hour round, waiting on a threesome ahead of us the entire day
Decent public course suffered from winter
Greens were fast. Bunkers hard. Fairways had numerous dead spots. Layout focused on accuracy. Staff was very friendly and did a great job. Carts were a mix of old and new.
Pleasantly surprised
The last time I played this course i walked off after 5 hours on hole 14 so I was reluctant to re schedule. That was some time ago. I got the time from Golf Now and it was all that was available for the day. To my surprise the course played timely and the conditions were excellent for a public muni course. All in all a delightful day..
Nice place, needs work though
This was a nice course, but lots of areas currently under repair. Not to mention some of the rough is very deep thus good luck finding a ball if it goes in there.
Greens need work but then almost all courses need that due to so many players that don't repair their ball marks, or divots.
The practice area is top notch though, a lot of area to practice chipping/pitching, sand shots, and putting.
Great little par 3
We had a good time out on Broken Tees par 3. Decent pace of play for a course that caters to family and young children. Lots of fun challenging greens.
Grass is rough
While I like the track and most of the layout, the fairway and rough need some TLC. There are bare patches everywhere on the course and the conditions on the cart path are atrocious. The club house looks amazing and the beverage attendant was friendly.
It’s a little pricey for what you get but still would recommend for the weekend warrior.
Lots of sun… not many trees. Gets dry. 70% green grass and good hitting surfaces.
Lots of sun… not many trees. Gets very dry in summer. 65%% green grass and good hitting surfaces. Hazards are mostly native grass and some water. Greens 5 out of 10 condition on average. Huge wind factor.
Par 3 with some challenge
Broken Tee has everything—range, full 18, multiple practice greens, and a challenging par 3. We've decided to make it our Go-To practice place.
The par 3 will have you working against elevation and practice reading greens. It's approachable for beginners. And challenging for your sub-100 players.
