DENVER, CO. (JULY 9, 2001) - Wellshire Golf Course will celebrate
its 75th birthday with a scramble-format tournament on July 13.
Registration for the outing was scheduled to close on July 1. To inquire about possible openings, call 303-757-1352. Wellshire Golf Course at 3333 South Colorado Boulevard. 18-hole regulation, pro shop and two restaurants.
Designed by Donald Ross in 1926. Voted one of the best public
facilities in the nation, Wellshire Golf Course strives to maintain
that reputation.
Its layout winds through mature trees, and the challenges on
holes 12 and 14 are referred to by locals as "Amen Corner."
You will repeatedly be drawn back to the unique Wellshire experience.
