The course is one that has lots of shore line.
I really like playing this course and its sister course. The courses are always well maintained and a good value for your money.
Lovely course and great overall facility
The course is in great shape and rather challenging but fair. It is purported to have the most shoreline of any course in the country. If you keep the ball in the fairways, the water should not come into play. The staff are very friendly, the GPS in the carts is exceptional and the restaurant has terrific food. If you go in the Spring, you will see the white pelicans, which is quite a treat.
Unfortunately our most recent play date was (unbeknownst to us) during a club tournament which resulted in a 5 + hour round.
I felt like i was on tour, having to make shots!
Every hole was a unique experiance. With so may choices in tee boxes, everyone has a great look at shots to the green. This course makes you feel like a pro, well worth the money.
Unbelievable
Who knew Windsor could have so much water and a really beautiful course. Not this guy. Great golf course, really beautiful and well maintained. An amazing amount of water that isn't really that much in play. Rather it really just accompanies you the entire way. Really pleasantly surprised by this course. Automatically goes into my top 10 in NoCo.
Fun course, water on many holes
Course was in great shape, with challenging greens. Pace of play is fine and staff very friendly
One of the premier courses in Northern Colorado
Love the course and it should be on your list too play in Northern Colorado. Hope you like water because it is almost in play on every hole.
You won't be disappointed with this course!
Just like every other time I have played this course, it was in great condition. The only negative was they were sanding the greens, so it made putting difficult.
This description (and others here as well) sounds more like the Lakes 18--which is a great course and has many shorelines. The Falls 9 is a shorter course with very little water in play, except on #9 which is an island green similar to the famous TPC 17th. The Falls 9 is a fun, less-challenging course and thus more appealing to beginners. The Lakes 18 is indeed one of my favorite CO courses.
