King's Deer Golf Club

The course was in good condition and had some fun holes. I liked the views and the course overall was nice. Pace was 5 hours on a Saturday morning which I guess could be expected. Lunch was included in price which was a good deal but had to wait 15 mins. for them to make it at the turn which caused us to lose our spot. Lunch should be pre made.

The rain the past few weeks made for great playing conditions. The rough was punishing, so avoiding it made club selection a more thoughtful exercise. The fairways were in great shape, and the bunker I was in had good sand in it. The greens were rolling nicely, both fast (10+) and true. I like the course design, more of a Scottish links style course. The practice facility was in good shape, too, though I wish they had a bunker to practice in.

I picked up a beer at the turn and their selection was far better than average. The hotdog was prepared fresh, so it wasn't dried out. Yummy.

All in all, it was a fun round of golf that challenged me as much as I needed. The rough cost me 6 strokes, but I still shot in the 80's.

This course is long, but manageable. I've played the course several times since it reopened and am very impressed with the course conditions. I play during the week as I can get more tee time availability. In general the greens are fast, nice slopes to most, and the fairways are well taken care of. Fairways are wide on most holes, but can be deceiving so balls will be lost on 4-5 holes if you're not careful.

Just happened to be my Birthday. Great time with son and friends. Would do it again. The new ownership has improved the course 100%. Greens are near perfect. Big Thanks to the new owners for everything they are accomplishing at the course. This course should be rated alongside the premier courses in the Colorado Springs area. It's long and challenging.

I found a quick tee time as a single and was paired up. We played slow as all four of us were in a different skill level but we had fun. Weather was good, bit breezy but the course was in great shape and we all smiled at the end of the round; the whole point of golfing right? I'll be back to King's Deer.

Got off on time and played quickly till we caught a slow 4 some. They refused to let us play through until a Marshall finally came to our rescue. Course is in great condition and the carts were clean and in good working condition.

Course is very nice and in good condition. The greens were ok a few rough spots here and there. If you are hitting your ball where u need to you will love it. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. Which is why my pace of play rating is not excellent. It's not a beginner course at all.

The course just went under new management in the last year. The course is improving but the greens are still in horrible shape. Once the greens get fixed, I would recommend this course to friends. Pace of play was great and there are excellent views along the course.

Course is in great shape less a few greens which are very rough. You must pick the correct tee box to match your drive distance.

Nice to be back on Kings Deer. Course is in great shape after re-opening. Some of the greens need a little work, but repair is underway. Pace of play was as fast as we wanted it to be. Course was not overcrowded like many other public courses in the Springs. Would like to see more tee times made available, and more hot tee times! Bring extra balls as errant tee shots are hard to find in the natural grass!

Only a few miles from CO Springs. Outstanding views of front range and impressive housing on large lots. Course was in good condition and you did not want to hit in ruff.
