KEYSTONE, Colo. -- This summer at Keystone Resort, golfers can experience the combination of teeing off on two championship golf courses and the best a Colorado summer offers with Keystone's Stay and Play golf and lodging packages. Guests will be able to play either the Keystone River Course or Ranch Course, which have been awarded top honors from Golf Magazine and Gold Digest. Keystone Resort was named in the top 75 of golf resorts in North America by Golf Magazine in 2002.
"Keystone's golf courses consistently rate among the best in North America," said Steve Corneillier, director of golf courses at Keystone. "The Stay and Play packages make it easier for people to play 36 of the most spectacular holes in the Rocky Mountain region by booking lodging and golf in one call."
The Keystone Ranch Stay and Play features lodging in a deluxe hotel room and two 18-hole rounds on the Keystone Ranch Course. This package is available all summer and starts at $102 per person per night to $138 per person, per night depending on availability.
The par-72 Keystone Ranch Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., takes a Scottish links-style design on the front nine and a traditional mountain valley layout on the back nine. Jones designed the course to offer not only challenging holes, but also spectacular views of the Continental Divide, Tenmile Range and Buffalo Mountain.
Golfers who want to tee off at the River Course can book the River Course Stay and Play package. Stay in deluxe hotel lodging and play 18 holes of mountain championship golf on the River Course starting at $118 per person per night.
The River Course is a par-71 designed by the Hurdzan-Fry design company. The championship course features a par-35 front nine, known as the River Nine that meanders along the Snake River. The par-36 back nine, referred to as the Mountain Nine, weaves through lodgepole pines and offers dramatic elevation drops.
