Great course !
I thought the course was gorgeous, well taken care of and worth the price.
The clubhouse lacks a little and the clerk was not overly friendly.
We had a relaxing round with some very nice people from hurricane who knew the course. Overall it's a great course
Natural beautiful course
This is a fantastic beautiful course. It is challenging, but you forget about that with the amazing scenery and natural beauty that this course is layed out in. From the red rock formations and canyons to the wetlands, this course is one of, if not my favorite in the entire state of Utah.
Fun but pretty tough course!
Enjoyed playing Green Springs Golf Course! Hole number 6 is one of the tougher holes I've ever played! The entire course is quite challenging but enjoyable.
Marshall the course
Your course is a great course and over all our golf experience was great. However the course really needs a starter to make sure that everyone tees off at there tee time and send off the golfers four at a time whenever possible. There is many otherwise great municipal courses in southern Utah, Nevada, and Ariz. but the one draw back is that they are not marshaled and it all starts with having a a good starter. Thank you, and Green Springs Golf Course is only one of many great golf courses in Southern Utah and the community needs to be proud of this fact.
Good course.
We arrived early and since the weather was overcast and the course was wide open we were able to tee off early.
Fun Challenging Course
Always enjoy this course, especially at great hot deals rate. Great value. Even parred #6 this time, a brute of a hole. One of my favourite courses in St George area.
Title
Great layout. Fun and challenging. Want to play again.
Needs more geese control and better placements of flag.
Course needs a little more maintenance and needs to put more effort into getting rid of the geese that are all over the course especially on the holes that have water. Many of the hole placements were put on edges of the green which were severely sloped so that the ball would come back further from the hole than where the ball stopped its forward progress.
ELEVATIONS
This muny course is very tricky. The greens were rolling above average. Fairways are in good conditions and overall a good course , You have to play it a few times to know where the tricky parts lay. Theres a lot of elevation on the course. I highly recommend this course, its fun ,tricky and enjoyable except for hole #6 and #11,
Super Challenging and Surprisingly Fun
A friend recommended that I golf Green Springs while in St. George. I was unimpressed when I got there and started warming up everything seemed pretty average. However once we started playing I was very surprised, greens were phenomenol and tough, had to be straight and there was some great views as well. Definitely going back (hopefully I will play better though)
good price
A couple of holes are brutal if you haven't played the course before. Pace of play was slow and we only got in 13 holes before it got too dark and cold
This course does have great features
This is a hard course, but fun to play. At least play this course once.
Great course
Great views with diverse holes to challenge all abilities
Beautiful Views and Fun Course
Great location, just off I15 at Green Springs, and a lot of fun to play. More of a shot makers course, then a bang away and wedge it on the green course. Holes 5 and 6 play over a gorge with exacting accuracy and distance, but make for a lot of fun. The back side tightens as it meanders around water, gully's and waste areas. 17 and 18 provide beautiful views of Zion N.P. off in the distance to the East. A lot of false fronts and undulating greens make chipping and putting skills a premium. The course is in nice shape, but there are some bare areas in the fairways that could use a little attention. Greens and areas around them were in great shape, as well as the teeing areas. Check GolfNow and the clubhouse, there are lot of specials that allow you to play this course at great prices. Food in the club house was good and a great value. Very friendly staff. We played on Saturday at noon, and it played in a little over 4 1/2 hours. Relax, have fun, but bring a few extra balls, plenty of places to lose them.
This course beats me every time. A testy little par three...across a gorge...challenging. Then the next hole is a par four across the same gorge..
This course beats us every time, but we keep coming back. It's a great challenge for us..we enjoy it.
great setting for a layout that will have you playing most of the clubs in your bag
A challenging layout with several risk/reward opportunities. Fairways not in the best of shape - probably mainly due to it being end of season, but greens in good shape with plenty of breaks to read. A gps would have helped in many situations as distance markers(other than center fairway at 100,150, and 200 yards) were not all that easy to find, making 1st time rounds more difficult.
Great potential with awesome scenery, requires fairway upkeep
Greens were great but the fairways require maintenance.
This course had some chanlenging and fun holes.
fairways were a little rough along with the greens. Should use winter rules for these reasons.
