About

Holes 18
Type Municipal/Resort
Par 72
Length 6622 yards
Slope 133
Rating 71.4

Park City Golf Club was first only nine holes, but designer William Neff redesigned it into the 18-hole course it is now. In 2003, nearly three decades after its renovation, the designer's son, William Neff Jr., redesigned the 18th hole. It is a mountain-style course on a rolling terrain with many trees. The course has an elevation of 6,700 feet that can add distance to shots and it is also convenient during hotter months since it is about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than other golf courses. The greens are undulating and the fairways are lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on every hole and there are bunkers on nearly all of them as well. Park City Golf Club is quite picturesque with meandering streams and lakes and an abundance of natural flora and fauna.

Beautiful walkable mountain course

I love this course! It's my home course so I play it frequently. It's well taken care of by both staff and patrons. It's beautiful, tucked against the mountains making it easy to follow your ball on a lot of shots and not too hard or too easy. The folks in the pro shop are great.

Tree Lined Gem

The course is old style, tree lined parkland course. The city maintains the course well. The fairways are wide, tree lined. Greens are firm, difficult to read for a first timer. A must play.

Better than I thought it would be

Played this course about 10 years ago and thought it was overpriced and not that great. Played again this week and it was wonderful. Got a fall season 2 for 1 rate with my Utah PGA Section pass. Course condition was wonderful. Course is very scenic. Some holes have homes or condo's nearby but they aren't close enough to cause problems.

More than just a muni

The locals lovingly refer to the Park City Golf Club as the 'muni'. We all know the connotation of the word, a goat track of variable conditioning and character. Park City deserves more than the stereotype can give. It's just enough of a test at 6,622 yards but always playable and enjoyable. The surrounding hillsides and ski runs give it a beautiful backdrop that gets colorful in fall. For $35 or less, Park City is a steal for locals. At a peak of $65 for non-residents, it's still a solid value. Park City's elevation of 6,700 feet adds distance to your shots while the weather remains consistently 10 to 15 degrees cooler than most courses in the area. Not a bad combination in the summer months. There first and ninth holes run parallel to one another in opposite directions, but otherwise, each hole provides its own privacy. A handful of ponds come into play on both the front and back nines. A nice elevated tee at the 15th hole highlights the day.
