Located in Kaysville, Davis Park Golf Course is an interesting course with views of lakes, mountains, and a valley. The course is easy to walk with plenty of trees that provide shade but can also alter shots. Water hazards come into play on six holes and there are numerous bunkers strategically positioned throughout. One particularly demanding hole, the fourth, is a downhill dogleg left hole with many trees before the green. The course has some challenges but it short length makes it ideal for golfers of all ages and skill levels. The Davis Park Golf Course facility also has a chipping area and putting green.

Well Manicured, VERY BUSY Golf Course

Davis Park golf course is known locally as being one of the busiest courses in the state and on Wednesdays, Men's association days, the course will be filled from morning to evening. If you do get a tee time during their busy hours, expect SLOW play. Most golfer here are courteous and do keep up, but with the number of golfers the pro-shop sends out, there is usually nowhere to go. The course is not particularly long or difficult and is always very well groomed. Recent stormed blew over hundreds of trees, which has actually improved the course and increased the speed of play here. Pro-shop staff is always friendly and will do their best to get you on (of course, this is what leads to the slow play). Overall, nice course, just be very patient if you play here.

Nice course that is usually busy

With recent rain the course is in great condition. Relatively easy to walk. Not a long course - par 5's are reachable in 2 for moderately long hitters. Pretty course with nice views of the mountains. Can be slow on Saturdays.

In a word, quaint.

I assume the word quaint comes to mind because I grew up playing golf here.

I recently played this course after being away from home for many years. The course lost over 400 mature trees recently during a severe wind storm. This has changed the look and feel of the course quite significantly. A few tee boxes are now exposed due to the loss of foliage and golfers teeing off could be at risk of wayward ball strikes. Lets hope they invest in some nets until the trees can be replaced.

The staff (all new to me) are some of the nicest I have ever dealt with.

A nice place for a quick game after work, but the challenge is a bit low with the loss of some critical trees.
