Hyland Hills in Westminster is home to four courses: the championship Gold, the nine-hole Blue and two par-3 courses, the North and South, which are known collectively as the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses. Originally when the course opened in 1963, there was only an 18-hole course, now known as the Gold. The Gold Course underwent a major redesign in 1985 that both modernized the features yet still maintained the classic feel of the design. The course offers enough of a challenge to keep the round interesting but it's still playable enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. This versatility has made it the perfect host for events including the first annual Colorado State Public Links Championship back in 1965 and then again in 2010. The Rockies surround the golf course, providing views that players of any skill level can appreciate.
