The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks is touted as the best mountain golf course in Colorado and even one of the best courses in the country. Towering forests of pine and aspen frame the rolling fairways and manicured greens on this scenic layout. The crystal clear creeks and trout-filled lakes are a striking contrast to the lush green of the course and the snow-capped peaks in the distance. The golf course is known for more than its scenery though, its challenging design is a test for all skill levels. The steep-faced bunkers have deeply furrowed edges, which can be tricky but they also serve to contain tee shots that might have an increased carry because of the course's dramatic elevations. There are also water hazards to contend with on several holes.

Ive played this course several times and I've never been disappointed. The conditions are great and the views are excellent! This is what mountain golf is all about!

Not overly impressed with this course. The course and scenery were very good. However I was very disappointed in the service. First of all I booked online through the course website and thought I was getting a decent rate at ~$85 each for my wife and I. I booked 3 days in advance of playing. Was very surprised when I logged in the night prior to playing to see if the other two spots in our foursome had been filled and saw that the rate was now $65 per player for our tee time. When I mentioned this fact in the pro shop at check in, was met with a non-chalant "Of course the later you book the cheaper it is" quote from the staff. Thought they may offer to buy us lunch or something with the extra $40 they made on us but not to be. Speaking of lunch, we arrived at the course approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes prior to our tee time thinking we would have plenty of time for lunch and warm-up. We ordered our lunches. I ordered their BLT and my wife ordered a Bratwurst with Sauerkraut. Approximately 25 minutes later, the waitress came over and said that they couldn't serve a BLT because the had no bacon! Asked what else I wanted and I replied that I would just have a Brat as well and we now had to take them to go since we wanted to warm-up for golf. About 10-15 minutes later they finally brought out the Brats with no napkins, no condiments, etc. To top it off they did not serve it with Sauerkraut since they had run out of that as well!!! The waitress was very apologetic and said the kitchen was slammed. Wondered about this since there were only 4-5 other tables with customers in the whole place. Hate to see if they were actually busy!! These series of events really made our experience a complete rush at this point. They did offer us a couple of beers to go but by the time we got to drink them after warm-up they were warm. Also did not see any cart service on the course for the entire time we played. I guess I expected more from a so called "premium" mountain course!!!
