Very local
This course is well maintained and staff is friendly. Lots of regulars or locals . Surrounded by lots of house so you need to hit very straight and accurate. We were over whelmed by mesquitoes and other bugs. I don't like that you can't take cart to you car like most places. I really didn't care for cart path only , that was after I already paid for a cart they could have said something , I have a walking cart I could have used . Driving range is kinda weak compared to other courses near by there mats only. It's a nice course but I probably won't play it again at least not for a while. Too many silly rules.
Great little course
Excellent value & conditions, wide open layout but some longer par 4s over 400 yds also. Always a go to place when other places are over $50 to play.
great shape greens were awesome fairways excellent
Course was in great schape always enjoy playing there although pace of play was horrible yesterday we had a two some holding up the whole course so I called out the Marshall and he told us to just play through them so we skipped a hole to catch that twosome they were mad that we were going to play trough them I told them to take it up with the marshall so we played through them there wasa four hole gap but course was in good shape I enjoy using my golf now account very much thank you
Good, cheap course
I have been playing at Lake Arbor since high school, and it is always an enjoyable time. The course is not long, or hard, or in great condition usually, but then, the price usually reflects that. The people are always friendly and the pace is pretty quick on most weekends. If you go into this course with the right expectations, you will have fun.
Beautiful day for a round with friends!
The course was in great shape for April in CO. Staff was friendly. I found the course challenging enough with several well palced bunkers and water features!
Best Course in/on/around 20 miles.
First off, what matters most on here.
"Best Greens in Colorado!" - Still stands even in the off season, soon they will be the purest greens when things start to warm up and really get healthy.
They will always have the best greens around imo. This was the 3rd week in February, and already they are Sweet!! Roll so true! They are the best I've been on yet now going into 2014 Colorado season. Players for life at Lake Arbor.
Great gem found in Arvada Colorado
I booked a hot deal by myself and played with a few locals on the course. The greens are smaller than other courses but that just makes your short iron game a little better. Didn't wait on a hole and everything was peachy
Some things never change!
Course was in excellent shape for this late in the year. Pro Shop staff was super friendly, but some things never change. There is always something that happens at this course that makes me "NOT" want to come back. This time it was one of the Rangers. He was on us from the 3rd hole. We were a 4 some playing behind a 3 some and he would not let up on us. We ended up playing our round in 4 hrs and 12 min. Really, that's not a bad time at all. Thank you again Ranger "Rob", I think you finally convinced me that my money is best spent else where!!!
nice inexpensive round, well maintained
gr8 value. course is short but you will be challenged if you are off the fairway with a thick but groomed rough. green are smaller so a nice practice for your accuracy. staff is very accommodating.
Short but tough
This is a short course but fairways are narrow, and the rough area is deep grass, and hitting out of it is not easy. Greens are nice, but hard to read , misjudged several holes. Overall a nice course to play.
Great course / Great value
The course was in great shape, the only issue was grass was a extremely tall along the fairway due to all of the recent rain. other than that it was perfect
Course in great shape. Length of rough pretty high!
Relatively slow play; no marshall on course. But fun day; course in great shape. Playing from the rough becomes a challenge.
Fun course
Course was in excellent shape even though the greens had been aerated 3 days prior. 4 hour round on a Saturday morning was awesome.
From the 1st hole thru the last you will be impressed ...
From the 1st hole thru the last you will be impressed with the well maintained fairways, roughs and greens. Every fairway is in excellent condition and the various roughs offers challenges for the most experienced golfer. Every green presented interesting challenges with slopes and ungulations that protect par but do roll true to your stroke. Water hazards are fun but never daunting.
The staff are very accomodating from the pro shop to the cart barn and driving range. You will always see a beverage cart roaming the course. The rangers always seemed to be in view if you looked but never intrusive.
For the price you just can't beat it!
Good course, great value
Played this course on Sat afternoon and didn't have to wait on a single hole. This was probably a fluke, but it is a great little course for the money and would be worth some waiting. The course is well maintained. Greens are relatively fast and fairways allow some roll. Blue grass rough is sticky and difficult to hit a good shot out of. Portions of the course are tight, but numerous high fences protect the houses from miss hits, so swing away. Stay in the fairways and putt well and you should be able to post a good score.
Well taken care of!
This course was very well taken care of, the greens and fairways in above average condition. Not an overly challenging course, but quite a few narrow angles off the tee to keep you honest. I really enjoyed this course and will be back
Local Course for sure
I grew up in Denver and this is as public as is gets. Its a easy course you want to go and unwind and relax on. Play there on a regular basis and the staff will no your name in no time. Two short par 5's start the back which can be made in two. Cheap and easy, so don't go here looking for a challenge.
Great Golf for the price!!
Lake Arbor is a well maintained golf course for a great value. The price you pay to get on the course means a little longer round, but it is worth it. The fairways and greens are well maintained and the course is fun. If you are looking for a great golf value then Lake Arbor is solid gold.
Pretty easy course for a walker in particular
This is kind of a short course. Good greens with few breaks.
