Chef Coulter specializes in New American cuisine offering dynamic, vibrant presentations with diverse flavors and colors while incorporating Asian, Southwestern, and Colorado influences.

Chef Coulter joins the team after building a strong foundation at the regionally acclaimed Blue Star Restaurant. Newly appointed Chef Coulter says, " It is an honor to be affiliated with a hotel destined to become one of the best in America. The opportunity to change menu items on a daily basis will allow guests to experience my broad-range culinary background." The Cliff House has a history of hiring talented chefs and has been featured in the past as a James Beard participant. The Cliff House received the regions "Peoples Choice Award" for two consecutive years, "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator and has been featured in Food and Wine and Bon Appetit magazines.

About The Cliff House

Built in 1873, The Cliff House at Pikes Peak is located in Colorado's' historic Manitou Springs at the base of Pikes Peak at the Front Range of the magnificent Rocky Mountains. The region drew worldwide attention in the 19th Century when gold mines and ancient mineral springs reached their height of popularity. The resort, the second oldest operating in Colorado, features 19th Century Victorian charm, décor and architecture with 21st Century technology and service.

The Cliff House, winner of the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator and member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and, has a front veranda, open gardens and patios with panoramic Rocky Mountain views. Regional attractions include Pikes Peak Cog Railroad, Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Cliff Dwellings Preserve, and Miramont Castle.

A member of Historic Hotels of the World and placed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1980, the resort underwent a $9 million renovation and restoration in 1997 and reopened in 1999 after a 16-year hiatus.
