With two championship golf courses designed by two of the greatest names in the game – Tom Fazio and Greg Norman – Red Sky Ranch is being created by Vail Resorts to answer the growing need for additional golf facilities in the Vail Valley.
Since 1999 Jeff has been the Head Golf Professional at the Beaver Creek Golf Club. Mark Thorne, Vice-President of Development for Red Sky Ranch, said, “We feel that Jeff has the perfect combination of professional golf skills and experience for Red Sky Ranch.
His background with the resort guest player at Beaver Creek, as well as with the members of exclusive private clubs such as the Beaver Creek Club and Cherry Hills Country Club, make him the perfect match. We’re thrilled that Jeff will be joining the Red Sky Ranch development and operations team.”
A native of Colorado, Jeff attended the University of Wyoming on a full golf scholarship and graduated with a BS in Business Management in 1988. His awards and accolades in the golf profession through the years are numerous.

- 1990 Colorado PGA Apprentice Champion and Player of the Year
- 1991 and 1992 Director of the Denver Metro Junior Golf League
- Member of PGA of America since 1991
- 5-time qualifier for National PGA Club Professional Championship
- 7-time member of the Colorado PGA Cup Team
- Elected the Colorado PGA West Chapter Merchandiser of the Year for Resorts in 2000
Prior to his position as Head Golf Professional Beaver Creek Golf Club, Jeff also held Head Professional and Assistant Professional positions at Glenmoor Country Club, and Assistant Professional positions at Cherry Hills Country Club, and Columbine Country Club - all located in Denver.

In addition to overseeing golf activities at Red Sky Ranch, including the supervision of all professional and outside staff, Jeff will also be participating in the Membership Sales program for Red Sky Golf Club and be providing golf course design and operational input to Vail Resorts Development Company during the construction of both Red Sky Ranch golf courses.
He’ll also be helping create a nationally celebrated golf academy that will be headquartered at Red Sky Ranch.
The Tom Fazio-designed golf course and guest clubhouse at Red Sky Ranch are anticipated to open in the summer of 2002. The Greg Norman course is scheduled for opening in the summer of 2003, along with the private member clubhouse of the Red Sky Golf Club.
