CWGA SENIOR STROKE PLAY TITLE
The CWGA Senior Stroke Play Championship will be played September 1st and 2nd at South Suburban Golf Course in Littleton. Defending Champion Lynn Larson of Heather Ridge Country Club will be back to defend her title. Larson won this event in both '96 and '97. Also competing in this years Championship are past winners Carol Flenniken ('94, '95) of Willis Case Golf Course, Shirley Anderson ('90, '91) of Pinehurst Country Club, and Eleanore Pellegrini ('86) of The Pinery Country Club. YOURE INVITED TO PLAY FOX ACRES COUNTRY CLUB The Colorado Women's Golf Association invites you to play golf at Fox Acres Country Club on Wednesday, September 9th for the Girls Junior Americas Cup (2000) Fundraiser Tournament. The Girls Junior Americas Cup is a very prestigious international tournament for junior girls. Eighteen golf associations from the United States, Canada, and Mexico field a team of four juniors that compete in a 54-hole team championship. In the year 2000, Colorado will host this special event. All proceeds from the Fundraiser Tournament will support this cause. The CWGA hosts the Girls' Junior Americas Cup just once every 18 years.
